DevOps Engineer 🚗

📍 Location: Moldova, Romania

We are expanding our engineering team and are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join us. As a DevOps Engineer at Oneest, you will be involved in our projects and play a crucial role in enhancing CI/CD processes, automating infrastructure maintenance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our development and deployment workflows.

What you will do: 

• Develop and enhance existing tools to support CI/CD processes.
• Automate processes related to the maintenance and development of IT infrastructure.
• Analyze errors and troubleshoot functional and performance issues.
• Build and manage test and production environments.
• Provide support and actively participate in development projects.

Main team tasks:

• Automate various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
• Provide support for deployments, including troubleshooting configuration, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Execute deployments for company applications and solutions that are not directly related to development.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives.

Required Tech skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of Linux (RedHat)
• Proven knowledge of at least one scripting language (preferred Bash)
• Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools (Ansible)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, concepts, and experience with Jenkins 2 and Jenkins declarative pipelines, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Nexus
• Knowledge of application servers Tomcat (preferred) and Weblogic from an administrative perspective
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment from an administrative perspective
• Knowledge of software lifecycle issues (Releases, Builds)
• Knowledge of Oracle databases from a user perspective and basic administration
• Excellent communication in English (at least B1/B2)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with containerization technology (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu)
• Experience with ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience in industrial-related projects, especially in the automotive industry 
• Familiarity with Atlassian Stack tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc).
